Discover the World Through its Marathons

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

For most of the people, running a marathon is almost impossible. But marathoner Radu Restivan is trying to transform each race he is running into a documentary that combines sports, culture and history.

Discover the World through its Marathons represents our love for running while exploring different cultures. The purpose of this documentary is to inspire people from all around the world to start running and discover new places and cultures.

Also, this documentary represents a new approach on journalism, as all races are filmed & presented while running, making the job very difficult.

The project was launched in 2015 and every year we are trying to cover races all around the world.

DESCRIERE ÎN ROMÂNĂ

Pentru mulți oameni, un maraton este aproape imposibil de alergat. Radu Restivan și-a propus să transforme această experiență și a lansat în 2015 “Discover the World through its Marathons”, primul documentar de alergare din lume, prezentat chiar de pe traseul competițiilor.

Discover the World through its Marathons combină într-un mod nemaivăzut sportul, cultura și istoria pentru a transforma fiecare cursă într-o adevărată poveste.

Proiectul a fost lansat în 2015, iar de atunci încercăm să abordăm cât mai multe curse la nivel internațional.

Premii:
2016 – Radu Restivan devine ambasador al Abbott World Marathons Majors
2016 – Documentarul este premiat la ETravel Awards Conference (România)
